Programs:
KPML has programs that serves the objectives and mechanics of operating an organization and promulgate plans and actions of the following:
1. Programs for the Organization
This program ensures the cooperation and coordination between KPML and the different organizations in different communities, cities, towns, provinces and regions. Also, it is a mechanism, which widens and builds organizations, that will be branches of KPML, and organizes other sectors that are based on communities, such as for the women, children, vendors, Tricycle Operators and Drivers Associations (TODA), Pedicab Operators and Drivers Associations (PODA), informal settlers, unemployed / underemployed, etc.
2. Programs for Education and Training
This program assists and assures appropriate education and training on the members of the organization. The general objectives of this program is to add information and training of the leaders and members, to make them aware politically and to know the issues and problems affecting the poor.
3. Programs for Mass Campaign and Advocacy
This program serves as a channel to the collective actions in accordance to different issues and problems, which directly and indirectly affecting the poor and the masses.
4. Program for Finances and Logistics
This program ensures the sustenance of resources for the plans and actions of KPML in terms of different actions.
5. Program for Research, Documentation, Programa sa Pananaliksik, Dokumentasyon, Information and Propaganda
This program is responsible for research activities for different issues, programs and projects, laws and protocols that affect the poor. Documentation of the events in accordance to the poor's mass actions are disseminated through news prints, pamphlets, media advisories, letters-to-the-editor, press statements and press releases.
6. Program on Local and International Solidarity
This program is responsible for KPML's communication with international personalities at cooperation with the different perspectives accompanied with the said communication.
7. Program on Welfare and Service
This program caters services needed by the members of KPML, such as legal and paralegal services, counselling, medical and technical services and referrals. It is one of the action line or network connected to other services.
8. Program on the Parliament
This program ensures KPML's preferences during the electoral campaign, in which there would be a united decision over the chosen candidate/s. This would also ensure the lobbying of the poor's agenda through the Congress and the Senate.
9. Program on Women and Women Empowerment
This program ensures the accumulation of different woman-related topics, such as gender equality, reproductive health, family right, economic right, and right to suffrage.
10. Program on Community Development by Self Help Resettlement Project
This program will ignite the poor's initiative towards community development, such as land acquisition, housing amenities, etc.
11. Program against HIV at AIDS
This program serves to give information about Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and Acquired Immuno-Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS), and gives proper assitance to those patients who acquired such.
12. Micro-finance Program
The micro-finance program lends loans to the parents of the youth and child laborers in order to help their families, and ensures the education of their children.
13. Program against Forced Child Labor
This program focuses on children and child laborers into making them go back to school and, with the aid of paralegals, putting a stop to child abuse and violence.
14. Program Enforcing Children's Rights
This program focuses on the issues and information regarding children and the youth in order to gain knowledge on how to withhold aznd protect such rights. A
